I got the audio from the film a while ago but never figured out why it was never officially released. You’d think one of the first things Jay-Z would do when TIDAL came about was add his cult classic concert documentary Fade To Black to the visual library, but you’d be wrong. I then remembered how much I like that version. Halfway through the beat changed to David Banner’s “Like A Pimp”. The other day I was listening to a live version of “Big Pimpin'” on my iPod. Sophie Caraan JAY-Z ‘s concert documentary Fade to Black has finally arrived on his TIDAL streaming service for the first time since its release in 2004.
